2008 AHA Board Election InformationFinal Announcement of 2008 Board Election Slate The following is the final slate of twelve nominees for the American Humanist Association Board of Directors, selected by the Nominations Committee. No additional candidates pursued their right under the bylaws for inclusion on the ballot by petition before the July 21st deadline. This year, there are eight open seats on the board. The twelve candidates are listed in alphabetical order: Louis (Lou) Altman Ballots will be mailed to members on August 15, 2008 and must be received at the AHA offices by close of business day on October 7, 2008. The Election Committee will meet in Washington DC on October 9, 2008 to count the ballots. Winners will be notified by phone or email the following day. Shortly after, the winners’ names will be posted online and announced in the Winter 2008 issue of Free Mind.
