Join the Feminist Caucus

Membership

The Feminist Caucus is for AHA members who want to work toward the advancement of women's rights and just relations between  men and women in all aspects of society and who want to develop, promote, and live by the philosophy and principles we have shared above.

Anyone who thereby qualifies, who participates in any of our programs from time to time, and who periodically  financially supports the FC at least modestly according to one's means becomes an appreciated Member.

Expenses associated with AHA FC administration and  activities are supported in part by our AHA dues and in large part by funds contributed periodically by FC participants and boosters who become Members through their financial support of the FC. However, all  FC programs and services are open to all – to non-paying participants and friends of the FC as well as to our financially supportive members who contribute from time to time. We hope that all those who are able  will provide, to the extent they are able, supportive donations periodically.  Thank you!

Your Investment.

Member contributions have been employed in a variety of ways – such as for  implementing our Humanist  Heroine Award program;  sponsoring educational programs including break out sessions at our annual conferences; covering costs of strategy sessions;  and mounting initiatives to meet unmet needs, sometimes uniting with other activist organizations to work for constructive social change.

The Process.

AHA FC loyalists in years past established a tradition of individuals contributing $15-$20  per year, and organizations contributing  at least  $25 a year. Some donate annually, others periodically.  This tradition continues to this day, with  the amount and timing being  flexible. Once you contribute and thereby become a member, you stay on our membership roster.

Your support is requested and appreciated.

We will keep track of you and your interests and the dates, modes, and amounts of both  your service and your financial contributions. There is no time like the present to take care of this important business!  You may choose to provide your financial support in any of these ways, though by phone and mail are preferable:

  1. By Phone: Call in with a credit card number to 1 800 837-3792 or 1 202 328-9088
    • Ask to speak to the AHA Registrar for FC
    • Be sure to give your full name, residence address, work place, phones, emails and particular FC interests
  2. By Mail: Send your check to AHA Feminist Caucus – Membership, 1777 T Street NW, Washington DC 200009-7125
    • Be sure to note your full name, residence address, work place, phones, emails and particular FC interests
  3. By Web: Click here to pay on the internet.
    • Please find another way to provide also  your residence address, work place, phones, emails and  FC interests

 Thank you!
