Citizen Action Guides

Citizen Action Guides (CAGs), published by the Kochhar Humanist Education Center, are position statements of the American Humanist Association. They consist of all of the information that an activist needs in order to speak out knowledgeably on issues of concern to humanists and nontheists.

The AHA is producing these CAGs in order to strengthen the background knowledge of members and supporters, on issues of interest and concern to our members and supporters.

Humanists must work to strengthen the nascent beginnings of a global civil society that is grounded in empathy and dignity. Toward that end, we must build a stronger system of global governance, reduce all forms of violence around the world, and create a set of development tools that provides a balanced rise for the world's poor.
